Inspired by the wildlife of her native New England, Lynn has been creating artwork since her early school days. By obtaining a degree in Graphic Design and a Masters in Arts and Teaching, Lynn has been able to work as an Artist and teach for more then 25 years. She met her husband Neil in London in 1989 and together they ventured to the Cayman Islands to live and work for seven years while raising their young family. The Caribbean Sea really is a magical and translucent turquoise and the flora, likewise, is a range of deliciously brilliant colours often requiring special pigments. To her credit, Lynn has had six limited- edition prints, Christmas cards and a magazine cover published and was a member of the Visual Art Society. She also participated in annual shows and charity auctions. Her work can be can be found in private and corporate collections around the world. In 1998, Lynn and her family moved to the Essex/Suffolk border where she has since enjoyed exploring a wide range of vistas and styles. A passion for the English Country Garden has allowed her to employ a vibrant palette all year around. Lynn also feels compelled to capture historical landmarks, the Stour Valley and coastal areas in a bold and expressive style. A recent member of the Dedham Art Society has brought renewed inspiration in a creative and supportive community. Many of her original paintings and cards are on display in local galleries and boutiques including Craft Nurseries and the Dedham Arts and Craft Centre.
